F1 interest... .

It resulted in Sarah being pronounced fit and strong enough to drive in F1. Soon other teams also professed a strong interest in having her in their F1 driving squads.

In January 2004 she was invited to join the Jaguar Formula One team as a member of their test team on a four year contract hopefully leading to her being a race driver for the team in the future.

However it was not to be and sponsors conflicts and contractual issues meant that the deal did not come to fruition.

Sarah is now relaxed and philosophical about such a narrow miss on joing a top level Formula One Team, and is looking forward to getting out and doing what she loves best; racing F1 cars on top circuits, but away from the commercial madness and cold steel of the F1 World Championship.
